Promotions and Social Media Assistant (Internship)

Job Summary

We are looking for someone who can create a story and engage fans both in-person while on or off the field and on social media. You will need to keep current with both baseball and pop culture and be able to create content that results in an emotional response. You should know how all social media platforms operate and have a passion for seeing other people create memories.

Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally with various departments to communicate, organize, and execute strategies, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Assist with the scheduling and publishing of daily content on all social media channels as well as creation, development and execution of social media campaigns.

Monitor and engage with fans across all social media platforms.

Help identify new opportunities to maximize the Red Sox social media brand Track analytics for each social media channel.

Assist with the execution of community appearances involving players and/or mascots.
