Director of Private Event Sales & Service
The Director of Private Event Sales and Service at the Village powered by Johnson Controls (the "Destination") will be responsible for managing the private and organizational events business. The primary responsibilities include prospecting, selling, and executing events at the destination. The Destination is a subsidiary of the Event & Entertainment Company.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; preferably in hospitality management, communications, or a sales-related field.
Minimum of 5 years of event sales and execution experience required, preferably in a professional sports, sports tourism, or hospitality environment.
Strong relationships within Northeast Ohio business, hospitality, and event community desired.
Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment; must possess a strong ability for effective time management and task prioritization.
Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
