Job Summary

In collaboration with licensed medical professionals, determines when a student-athlete may return to play after an injury or illness. develops and integrates the best research evidence into all department health and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. works with legal counsel to create policies and procedures that follow NCAA health-related standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a CAAHED approved curriculum.

Significant (over 5 years) experience as Athletic Trainer in a collegiate setting.

Experience in multi-sport, broad based intercollegiate programs.

Computer skills.

CPR/First Aid Instructor.
