Job Summary
A runner is a restaurant server who ensures food and beverage orders are delivered to guests in a timely and efficient manner. The primary responsibility of a runner is to deliver food from the kitchen to guests as quickly and efficiently as possible using key information from kitchen tickets, including table and seat numbers.
