Associate Director - Athletic Communications

Job Summary

The associate director will be Coordinate and oversee daily business operations across athletic departments. Manage public relations and stakeholder perceptions, aligning with strategic mission. Focus on women's basketball while potentially covering other sports. Create and manage publicity, including press releases, social media content, and game materials. Maintain website content, manage social media presence, and supervise game-day operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus three years related experience
• A combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
• Able to utilize graphic design platforms including, but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
• Strong writing ability and background in publicizing through social media.
