NBC Universal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International New Media team is responsible for monetizing both film & TV content across digital platforms, both transactional & subscription. The New Media team is part of the International Distribution division, which controls distribution of film & television content across both traditional TV platforms (both Free and Pay TV) and new digital platforms.
Job Description
The Digital Creative Marketing Manager is responsible for sourcing and securing innovative creative assets to drive best-in-class marketing activities for our New Media business. Working under the guidance of the VP in London, the Creative Manager will be located in Los Angeles, close to the creative hub for the film studio and will be required to embed themselves in the creative strategy and development of both film & TV product.
In particular, the duties are as follows:
Drive New Media digital marketing asset creation at the early stages of the overall production/creative process for both film & televisions product;
Be responsible, in conjunction with the VP, for sourcing best-in-class creative assets which can be used by the regional New Media marketing teams in their marketing activity with our digital customers & direct to consumer;
Key input to strategic digital marketing plans on a title by title basis working with regional marketing leads to understand strategic digital partner and content needs;
Cultivate and maintain strong internal relationships with the domestic and international theatrical publicity groups based in Los Angeles
More broadly, work in close collaboration with the Theatrical, Home Entertainment & TV Production marketing & creative teams and cross-functional groups across international divisions of NBC Universal;
Manage and approve creative marketing assets for the New Media team working closely with the creative services teams in London and LA;
Liaison with TVD group based in LA to ensure solid communication and asset management flow to PASSPORT is maintained;
Communicate all creative opportunities to the new media team to access talent or for content creation, attend all necessary theatrical workflow meetings/junkets/content days;
Lead contact with LA-based agencies (creative and social), provide feedback based on internal strategies, and experiment creatively wherever possible.
Forecast and track marketing budget and spend.
Other marketing and promotional duties and/or special projects as assigned; and
Travel internationally when required.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Desired Characteristics
Extensive experience within international TV/Film product marketing
Digital Media experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of theatrical workflows
