Responsibilities
The IT Support Analyst provides support for incident resolution and requests reported to the HelpDesk. Responsibilities include initial assessment, escalation, research, and resolution of basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components. The IT Support Analyst will also provide tier II support to requests from Fandango end-users. A successful candidate will require an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for employees on issues as necessary. Including, but not limited to, software installation, password resets, printer connections, network connectivity.
- Analyzes and resolves incidents and requests regarding use of application software or hardware.
- New employee setup and orientation.
- Maintain asset management systems and tracking changes for both Windows and OS X assets.
-Troubleshoot basic network issues for VPN setup.
-Take ownership of user problems and follow up on the status of incidents on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
- Publishing support documentation to assist staff with requests for information & provide staff training if required.
-Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange knowledge. User account management, reset passwords, permission access, mailbox creation, etc.
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours (during crunch times!) per day including occasional weekends and holidays.
- Working knowledge on Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016 and Office 365.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience
- Education in computer systems and technologies or equivalent work experience is required.
- Understanding and experience with IT HelpDesk processes, service management, and related industry best practices and standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic troubleshooting skills for MAC OS X and Windows 7 hardware and software.
- Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the company's sole discretion.
