Job Summary

The Peoria Chiefs ticket sales internship will give you a true insight into the sports world through the most important facet of the business, ticket sales. This internship is a program that provides you with the experience necessary to land a full-time job. Our organization has made the commitment to add the most talented & motivated individuals available. Sales training is provided.

 
Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate student at an accredited college or university

  • Able to receive academic credit for your internship experience

  • Aggressive and effective communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Superior problem solver, with ability to work independently

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work with deadlines

  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, evenings)

  • Coachable

  • Open to making cold calls

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Passion for sales

  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic and outgoing personality



Job Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue through the sales of Peoria Chiefs season and group tickets

  • Network, prospect and create new sales opportunities when and wherever possible

  • Plan, Sell and Execute assigned theme nights

  • Manage tickets components for all corporate deals

  • Sell and service all birthday packages for the 2017 season

  • Assist other departments as needed

  • Assist VP and complete any additional duties assigned during the season.

$500/month stipend plus minimum wage during games (overtime eligible)
