Job Summary

The Digital Media Coordinator position for the Nashville Sports Council and the Music City Bowl will be a salaried, non-exempt position that is supervised by, and reports to the Public Relations, Marketing & Communications Manager, along with the COO/SVP – Events and Operations, and ultimately the President and CEO.

Below are the job responsibilities and duties:

  • Responsible for graphic design and creation of marketing collateral and sales material for all departments, often with short turnaround time.

  • Day-to-day oversight of the NSC and MCB websites, including updates, edits, and content creation.

  • Sponsor fulfillment of digital content, including website acknowledgements and social media scheduling.

  • Assist with creation and production of NSC and MCB marketing publications (Annual Report, Program and Media Guide, Printed Newsletter, etc.). 

  • Responsible for all event photos, editing, and photography; videography needs at events a plus.

  • Directly responsible for management of department’s intern each semester. This positon must educate and engage intern for the benefit of intern’s professional development. 

  • Expectation is that employee will stay current on best practices and trends as it relates to the changing digital platforms such as responsive web design, social media, email communication, and consumer behaviors.

  • Assist event operations team as needed in the execution of all events for the NSC and MCB.

  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Public Relations, Marketing & Communications Manager as well as the COO/SVP – Events and Operations and ultimately the President and CEO.

 
** This is a heavy graphic design focused role, with website editing maintenance responsibilities as well.
 
Ideal Candidate

  • Passion for graphic design

  • Undergraduate degree focusing on graphic design preferred

  • 1-2 Years graphic design work experience

  • Proven track record of producing quality graphic design work on a tight deadline

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat; Premiere Pro and After Effects experience are a plus

  • Experience editing websites using WordPress

  • Possess a “no-job-too-small” attitude
