Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is searching for a new Coordinator of Creative Services, who will be responsible for all creative elements within the Department of Athletics as they relate to graphics, photography, and videography.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Videography:

  • Oversee all aspects of live-streaming production on gamedays.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and management of the game day, camera, videography, and photography staff.
  • Attend practices for all sports to interview student-athletes and coaches, capture B-roll and create videos for sport-specific exposure for media outlets and departmental social media accounts.
  • Produce and create basketball television commercials and other sports spots as assigned.
  • Attend & scout local amateur games/events as needed.
  • Perform independently in all facets of production, specifically shooting, producing, and editing short and long-form content for all digital platforms, including social media & video board shows.
  • Oversee Media Days for the Department.
  • Complete other video requests from the Department.

Photography:

  • Manage all the photography needs of the department as it relates to staff headshots, team headshots, team photos, branding photos, and game day photography.
  • Capture sponsorship elements at athletic events.
  • Oversee departmental photography needs at special events.
  • Complete other video requests from the Department.

Graphic:

  • Design schedule posters for all sports.
  • Design game day promotion graphics and materials for the department as needed.
  • Produce specific graphics among all programs to utilize for team social media accounts.
  • Design other items as requested by the External Operations Department:
    • Basketball Season Ticket Booklet
    • Athletic Brochures
    • Athletic Postcards
    • Videoboard Elements/Scorer’s Table Elements/Ribbon Board Elements
    • Social Media Ads
    • Campus Branding

Gameday:

  • This position includes working nights and weekends. Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Two (2) years working within Intercollegiate Athletics or related.
  • Self-motivated while also being team-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Experience working with live video streaming.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends and travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, Lightroom, and After Effects.
