Storeroom Receiving Clerk/Purchasing

Austin Country Club (ACC) is accepting resumes for the position of Full Time Receiving Clerk/Purchasing.  Responsible for proper receiving, storing, and issuing of all food & beverage products in the food, beverage & general storeroom under the guidance of the Chef & Purchasing Director.

 Inspect & unpack all merchandise received, and stock/store the inventory products, such as food, beverage and non-perishables.

 Assist in Physical Inventories of Storerooms

 Assist in document filing, logs and other clerical duties.

 Report any discrepancies on Requisitions, receiving, quality and inventory.

 Keeps walk-in, freezer and storeroom areas organized, clean and in proper repair and condition.

● High School Diploma or GE

● At least 1-3 years of experience. Club experience is a plus.

● Basic computer skills are a plus

● Presentable - (Able to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional

way to our members)

● Strong Communication Skills - (Able to assess needs and desires by communicating with our

members and team)

● Team Player - (Work closely with Food and Beverage department leaders and fellow team

members to meet goals)

● Genuine - (Possess a passion for delivering top-notch service and find everyday enjoyment)

● Fast-Paced - (Able to manage multiple tasks at once of differing needs)

 Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50lbs.

 Stand or walk for an extended period.

 Must be able to operate pallet jack and golf cart.

 Basic computer operation & understanding.

● This position is available for full-time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

● Shifts will differ from 8-10 hours, Tuesday-Saturday

Receive, unpack, inspect, verify, store and maintain all purchases.

Keep records and compile stock reports.

Salary: Austin Country Club prides themselves on offering competitive and comparable compensation.

● Base Rate: $19.00/hour
