HVAC Technician

Job Summary

The Technician is responsible for maintaining all electrical equipment and related systems at the facility. Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance, responding to and solving HVAC related problems, maintaining existing Building Management System, installing HVAC equipment and ductwork, and updating HVAC parts inventory. Must have ability to work independently and collaborate with external contractors.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical School certificate in a related field preferred.
• College degree in a related field is a plus.
• The successful candidate must possess a current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) type Universal—Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
• Fundamental knowledge of Trane Chillers, chilled water systems and sequence of operations.
