Job Summary



The job role is responsible for the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses, maintaining communication with coaches, administrators, parents, and student-athletes, acting in accordance with physician supervision, serving as a preceptor, recording medical information, and complying with NCAA, Big 12.



  1. NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
  2. Master's degree.
  3. Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years experience as an athletic trainer.
  4. Additional related education may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis.
  5. Must be licensed as an athletic trainer within the United States and be expected to obtain a Texas license or certification.
