Job Summary

The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the healthcare of student-athletes participating in supervised team activities, providing referrals to other medical providers, providing medical coverage for practices and games, and collaborating with other staff to promote injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field.

NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer.

Licensed Athletic Trainer by Florida Department of Health by start of employment.

Certified in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer/Basic Life Support Equivalent.
