Job Summary
The role entails delivering comprehensive care to student-athletes both on campus and at game venues. It also involves assisting in the supervision of all aspects of the Athletics Training Program and coordinating medical procedures and physicals.
The Athletic Trainer should have minimum 3 years of experience, certificate by the Board for Athletic Trainers, Athletic Training license and/or license eligibility, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
Essential Functions:
- Providing comprehensive athletic training services to assigned sports, coordinating the organization of the training room.
- Managing injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes.
- Assist in the coverage of the sports medicine clinic, and work with the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in teaching and supervising students.
- Maintaining educational standards, participating in professional activities, and upholding certification and credentialing requirements.
