Job Summary
This job will provide counseling services to the student-athlete population, including conducting individualized performance counseling to support the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of the student-athletes' population as well as provide group and team supports, consultation and training to coaches, sports medicine staff and other athletic department staff.
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a related field. Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP)
Minimum 2 years of job-related experience, as a Sports Psychologist preferred or specialized training in sport psychology and/or Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) certification working with collegiate (and/or elite) athletes.
Previous supervisory experience involving the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures.
