Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer provides support to the university's athletic programs by delivering training and treatment to student athletes. They manage the operations of the training room, evaluate and treat injuries, collaborate with medical staff for rehabilitation, and communicate with coaches and athletes for injury prevention and recovery.

Qualifications:

Division I Athletic Training experience.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and work effectively with a diverse group of student-athletes and work effectively with a diverse staff.

Advanced degree or certification in the field of athletic training, strength and conditioning and/or sports nutrition.

1-3 years progressively responsible experience as an ATC.

Knowledge and/or a working understanding of medical records, insurance and evaluation following HIPAA and FERPA.
