Assistant Coach, Track and Field/Cross Country

Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in the development of a competitive program. Responsibilities include training/practice preparation, meeting logistics, marketing, and effective communication with coaches, athletes, administrators, and the university community.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in the coaching and training of the team
2. Help with the organization, planning, and execution of training sessions
3. Prepare detailed film breakdowns of team and individual performances for review
4. Analyze video of opponents and assist in the creation/presentation of scouting reports
5. Provide individual instruction and training weekly as assigned
6. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
