Job Summary

 

 

The Assistant Athletic Trainer to administer the sports medicine program within NCAA Division II guidelines. The responsibilities include providing medical coverage for athletic teams, evaluating and rehabilitating student-athletes, coordinating transportation to appointments, and maintaining medical records. Collaborating with other staff and ensuring student welfare are also essential components of the role.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree, NATA Certified and eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
  • 3 years of professional experience.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Additional certifications needed are CPR and AED.
