Job Summary

 

 


The Assistant Cheer Coach is responsible for assisting in the administration and success of the intercollegiate cheer program. This includes coaching and preparing cheer team members for routines and competitions, collaborating with other staff for enhancing fan experiences, maintaining communication with team members and administration, and ensuring compliance with safety and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum of two years experience at the collegiate level.

Prior coaching experience preferred.

American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators Safety Certification.

Must be able to handle the physical rigors of squad practice and competition, including the ability to demonstrate choreography and proper technique for stunting.
