Athletic Development Officer

Job Summary

The role involves soliciting fund donations, engaging prospects, managing events, and supporting Athletic Department priorities. Reporting to the Senior Director of Athletic Development, the position oversees events such as Red White Club and Champion Partners receptions, golf outings, and basketball banquets. Responsibilities include P&L statements, pledge fulfillment, and working with volunteers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in development, preferably in a higher education.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and peers in the Institutional Advancement area and with internal partners and external volunteers.

Demonstrated knowledge of development practices and principles and a track record of success in managing major gift prospects and in securing gifts.

Identify prioritize, cultivate and solicit current and new annual fund prospects for Athletics.
