Director of Development for Athletics

Job Summary

The Director of Athletics Development is a full-time position responsible for serving as a major gift officer for Athletics. Reporting primarily to the Senior Managing Director of Development and secondarily to the Director of Athletics, the role involves preparing and implementing development strategies.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of successful development experience
2. Major gifts moves management, annual and planned giving, as well as corporate and foundation fundraising.
3. Strong preference for experience in athletics development or a similar role in intercollegiate athletics.
4. Administrative principles and practices, including goalsetting, program development, implementation and evaluation.
5. Rules, regulations, and procedures related to development and intercollegiate athletic activities.
