Visiting Summer Coach

Job Summary

The Fairbanks Tennis Association is looking for a visiting summer coach for a small but vibrant tennis community in Alaska's beautiful interior. The coach would work with the summer program committee to develop a full slate of tennis instruction and tournament coordination for players at all ages and levels. We welcome innovative ideas and this would be a good fit for someone who is interested in exploring all that Alaska has to offer in the summer. In addition to a flat monthly salary, the coach can offer private lessons. 

We are non-profit with the mission to provide affordable, high quality tennis programming to the local community. The visiting summer coach could work with some of our experienced high school coaches as well as high school players who can act as assistants to the coach.

Schedule is flexible within the summer months of May, June and July. The position could start as early as May 15th if desired. Shorter time frames (4-6 weeks) are also possible. We provide airfare and help with lodging and local transportation.
