Your Role:

As an After School Tennis Coach, you’ll lead engaging tennis classes for students in grades K-5 at various elementary schools. You’ll be responsible for creating a fun and supportive environment where kids can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Class Management:

    • Energize and manage classes of 8-16 enthusiastic students aged 5-10.

    • Deliver exciting lessons using our provided plans that keep kids engaged.

  • Training & Preparation:

    • Participate in a two-day training session to get you up to speed with our program.

    • Set up and transport tennis equipment to ensure a smooth class experience.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures.

    • Foster positive communication with parents and school staff.

    • Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.

  • Capture the Fun:

    • Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be at least 19 years old.

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in teaching or playing tennis is preferred, but not required.

  • Certification (USPTA/PTR) is preferred but not mandatory.

  • A passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.

  • Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.

  • Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated.


Locations & Schedule:

  • Classes are held at various elementary schools across the Bay Area.

  • Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

  • Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly.
