Your Role:
As an Assistant Tennis Coach, you’ll support in managing tennis classes for students in grades K-5, guiding them through lessons and ensuring they have a fun and engaging learning experience. You’ll help create a positive and motivating environment where young students can develop their skills and enjoy the sport.
Key Responsibilities:

Class Management:
-
Manage classes of 8-16 students (ages 5-10) for after-school programs.

Assist the lead coach in teaching and overall program management.

Training & Preparation:
-
Participate in a two-day training session to get you up to speed with our program.
-
Set up and transport tennis equipment to ensure a smooth class experience.

Administrative Tasks:

Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures.
-
Foster positive communication with parents and school staff.
-
Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
-

Capture the Fun:
-
Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress!

What We’re Looking For:
-
Must be at least 19 years old.
-
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
Previous experience in teaching or playing tennis is preferred, but not required.
-
Certification (USPTA/PTR) is preferred but not mandatory.
-
A passion for working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
-
Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
-
Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
-
Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated.
Locations & Schedule:
-
Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, held at various elementary schools and recreation centers across the Bay Area.

Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly.

Work schedules we offer:
- Monday to Friday, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays available, with schedules varying across different locations
