Customer Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The primary role of the Customer Operations Specialist is to create a positive and unique customer service experience when dealing with customers via inbound and outbound phone calls, email, and potentially in person. 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that outstanding customer service is provided to all customers.
  • Maintains a customer friendly environment, providing solid product knowledge and problem solving any customer service issues.
  • Works closely with the sales team on order entry and customer relations.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive work environment.
  • Periodically attends and leads off site events (set up of booth, selling, educating customers, breakdown of booth).
  • Navigates different sales and returns platforms.
  • Maintains adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by their manager.

  • Verbal Communication: Articulating information clearly and concisely, both in person and over the phone.
  • Written Communication: Crafting professional and helpful emails, chat messages, or other written correspondence.
  • Active Listening: Paying close attention to customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and responding appropriately.

Experience:

  • Sales and/or supervisory experience of two or more years in a retail environment.
  • Background/knowledge of field hockey encouraged but not required.
  • Knowledge of Acumatica, Hubspot and/or Shopify encouraged but not required.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule
  • 40 hours per week
