Job Summary
Baseball Team seeking a Stadium Events Manager responsible for growing the non-baseball event revenue and rental business, through booking, planning and executing events This person shall take an active role in the sales and marketing efforts to attract new business to our newly launched Club, and provide facility management and event oversight for house accounts and hosted events.
The main responsibilities of the Special Events Manager will be to :
• Set up meetings and calls with prospective clients and inbound leads,
• Negotiate pricing and packaging, generate floorplans and layouts, and administer contracts
• Coordinate facility schedules, organize equipment and supplies, build partnerships with local vendors
• Manage the facilities, event staff, and contracted staff for events
• Work closely with the sales teams’ rental clients to assist with client services and facility management as needed
• Assist Stadium Operations department with event set-up and preparations
• Manage the Events Calendar keeping essential parties well informed of all extracurricular ballpark activity
To apply for the position a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a preferred 3-5 years experience in a professional Events environment is necessary while the applicant will have to be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and the ability to create strong relationships.
