Tour Guide

Job Summary

• Greet all guests promptly at scheduled tour times. 


• Determine if any guests have physical restrictions that should be considered and reasonably accommodated. 


• Lead stadium tours moving around the Park with a significant amount of standing, walking and talking to individuals and groups.


• Clearly and articulately provide the history, facts and appeal of the Park to guests.


• Remain calm, friendly, and enthusiastic at all times.


• Keep the tour moving on schedule, while still being considerate to guests.


• Knowledgeable of all safety and security protocols, should they be needed.


• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. 

• Ability to memorize and recite facts clearly and accurately.


• Must possess outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with fans, visitors and employees. 


• Excellent verbal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with fans, visitors and employees. The ability to share information verbally that is clear, accurate and within Tour Guide guidelines. 


• Ability to remain calm and collected when dealing with difficult guests.


• Ability to multitask and prioritize. 


• Availability to work a non-traditional schedule that will include evenings and weekends. Must be available during the season to work up to 6 days per week (3 days minimum), completing up to a maximum of two 90-minute tours a day. 


• Must successfully complete all required training for the role.


• Ability to work in an outdoor stadium environment, including the ability to stand, walk and talk for the duration of tours. 


• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 25 lbs.
