Job Summary

Job Summary

This position works under the manager and offers support in several different areas including marketing, merchandising, customer service and facility management. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining communication avenues with customers including in-person interactions, printed materials, e-mail, survey, website, social media, focus groups, and related committees.


• Provide high level of customer service expected by our customers.


• Assist with golf shop merchandising.


• Assist with food service operations.


• Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments and annual outings.


• Assist with golf shop operations P.O.S, network.


• Assist with maintaining the clubhouse facilities and including inventory management of materials and supplies.


• Be available for any other duties assigned by the Clubhouse Manager/ Golf Operations Manager or General Manager.


• Assure compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and U of M regulations, policies, and procedures.


• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Current student at the University.


• Demonstrated passion for working in golf operations, customer service or a related field.


• Must be professional and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.


• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including proficient use of computers.


• Proven time management and prioritization skills.


• Successful experience working in a team environment.
