Event and Game Operations Graduate Assistant

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate with coaches and internal department to plan and execute game day operations
• Coordinate with visiting teams and game officials pre-event and greet upon arrival to site
• Ensure facilities are properly set-up and prepared for each athletic contest
• Assist in operations of Illinois High School Association championships
• Sport specific game duties
• Crowd control, trouble-shooting during events

Required qualifications include:

• Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook
• Degree seeking Graduate Student at University.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow through and complete tasks/projects in a timely manner
• Communication skills, concentration on customer service
