Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic team members to help us continue to take the sport of diving and its athletes to new levels. We are passionate about sharing the excitement of the sport, and need dedicated team members who can help us continue to be the United States’ most successful summer Olympic sport.
We are looking for a Director, Marketing to join the team. The Director, Marketing will be responsible for the following:
- Create USA Diving’s overall marketing strategy and plan.
- Create electronic digital media content, external communications, social media content, event communications, advertisements, sponsor fulfillment, and digital brand growth.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing website.
- Assist with on-site media operations, digital and social media content for events.
- Assist with media calls, requests for photos, athlete bios, results, general information, and interviews.
- Manage all aspects of style guide and brand.
- Assist with any other duties, as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong grammar, editing and attention to detail.
- Experience in public speaking and presentation development and delivery.
- Strong content development skills.
- Strong computer skills, including social media applications, website analytics, SEO.
- Excellent use of Microsoft suite products.
- Creative thinking and writing ability.
- Working well with others and collaborating across the organization and with USOPC.
Experience & Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years of managing all marketing and communications functions
- Bachelor’s Degree
