Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the production of assigned shows, features and projects as a member of the International content team.
 
Primary responsibilities include shooting, editing, researching, idea generation, script writing and editing short pieces as assigned. 
 
 
Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.  

  • Minimum two years of experience in production and/or related field. Basic understanding of field production styles and techniques, shooting and editing is preferred.  

  • Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment is a benefit: DSLR cameras, nonlinear video editing (Adobe Premiere) and computer graphics (Adobe Photoshop).  

  • Solid communication skills needed to work with a variety of teams. Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel and/or comparable programs).

  • Fluency in other languages is a plus.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit content for features, teases, promos, vignettes and other elements for use in International programming, and across various platforms. 

  • Assist with the production of elements for content. Organize footage for upcoming edit sessions and ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.

  • As assigned, produce content by utilizing research, writing and editing skills. Work with show/project producers to develop editorial skills, production values and writing.

  • Support international partners production needs by developing a working knowledge of all international content, distribution, and on-site production including live content delivery.

  • Assist in organizing footage to distribute to International Partners.

  • Assist Senior Content Producers and Content Producers in researching and coordinating field content.

  • Assist in implementing feature material into final program or project during on-line edit sessions or live show. Assist in the voice over session by compiling all appropriate scripts.

  • Assist show/project producers during all phases of production as required, including miscellaneous administrative duties, filing scripts, music reports, etc.

  • Actively contribute ideas in all creative meetings.

  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
