Job Summary

Summary:  Performs laboratory measurements of golf clubs and golf club components in support of the Research and Development department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

Sets up, adjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as loft and lie gages, swing-weight scales, digital scales, tensile tester, torque tester, flexboard, inertia tester and other equipment.

 Perform laboratory measurements of heads, shafts, grips and clubs

 Conduct laboratory tests: tensile, ball cannon, environmental, etc. of clubs and components.

 Build golf clubs for cannon, player and robot testing.

 Prepare measurement data to be entered into database.

Records test results on standardized forms.

Calibrates laboratory instruments.

 Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
