Corporate Development Director

 

1. Works closely with all functional areas to assist with business development activities.
2. Assists with any acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and capital markets transactions.
3. Builds financial models, budgets, long-term forecasts and comparative analysis.
4. Drives and implements company-wide strategic planning process in collaboration with the Finance department.
5. Leads the preparation of investor update materials.
6. Assists with strategy, development and implementation of key company-wide projects.
7. Contributes to the preparation of financial analysis related to the company’s performance.
8. Develops presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
9. Prepares business and brand highlight presentations for potential business partners.
10. Supports management of  Fitness investment, which includes Fitness financial performance review, analysis of new opportunities, preparation and distribution of status updates, and review and maintenance of financial models.
11. Supports management of other strategic partners.
12. Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Experience: 

1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience. An MBA is preferred.
2. 5 or more years of experience in the area of strategic analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting practices.
4. Investment banking or strategy consulting background preferable.
5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive, critical thinker.
6. Effective communicator with solid team building skills who is able to work within and across functional groups.
7. Highly numerate with excellent Microsoft Office and financial modeling skills.
8. Experience in developing presentations and presenting information.
9. Creative mindset with an ability to identify ways to leverage existing assets for new business.
10. Flexibility to adapt to changing and challenging situations.
