Job Summary

The Assistant Editor’s duties will include:

• The year-round publication and development of written, photo, audio and video content
• Creating original bi-lingual content, translating content from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, and monitoring content in the Americas regions to spot stories and trends of interest for the U.S. domestic audience
• Regular communication with editorial teams in the Americas.
• Coordinating coverage of breaking news to ensure timeliness and accuracy, understanding reporting protocol and news judgment.
• Lending insights and partnering with other editions around the globe.
• Updating regional content plans.
