Coordinator, Security

Job Summary

• Responsible for the daily maintenance of the Security Department Licenses and Records. 
• Manages the credentialing process for fulltime and seasonal employees, the ballpark Access Control System, and the MLB Guest Pass System for field passes. 
• Involves staffing and approving of Public Safety and First Aid payroll.

• Manage the maintenance of all Security and Company Licenses and Records.
• Manages the team's and MLB Credentialing programs as it pertains to MLB security and facility mandates.
• Manages the ballpark Access Control System.
• Assists with interviewing potential candidates for Day of Game positions.
• Assist with fulltime and seasonal Security employee trainings including:

1. Level II & III Security Training 
2. Seasonal Employee Live Training 

• Schedule Day of Game and Special Event 3rd Party Staff including: 

1. Police/Troopers 
2. Fire/EOD 
3. Medics 

• May respond to security inquires and grievances.
• Supervises the Ballpark Operations intern.
• Oversee the seasonal security & first aid uniform inventory.
• Crosstrain with Parking Coordinator to fill in when necessary.
• Assist with preparing budgets and billings.
• Assist with other special projects and tasks as assigned.  

• Must meet all requirements to register with the Texas Department of Public Safety Security Board.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Criminal Justice or Business preferred. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends, holidays, and after hours.
