Intern,Media Relations

Job Summary

• Assist with the production/distribution of media credentials on game days at the media entrance


• Compile and distribute daily news clips, stat packs, game notes, press releases, etc. to media


• Prepare and proofread content for the media guide, team yearbook and Spring Training program


• Assist with press conferences and press box assignments


• Perform general office duties and work on research projects as assigned by media relations staff

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Must be recently graduated from an accredited college or university, having pursued a degree or course work related to the functions of the position.
• Examples include: Broadcasting, Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, Sport Management, etc. Previous experience working in professional sports or college environment in a media relations or sports information role is preferred.
