Job Summary

Overview
  • Responsible for providing security services to the Park and surrounding property including fire, vandalism, illegal entry, and building checks.
  • Act as a first responder to verify various alarms and calls for service. 
  • Support providing a higher level of security to guests, property and personnel and limit risks of liability.
  • Strong emphasis is placed on providing top level service and integrity to our organization.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This is a third shift rover position, from 12:00AM (Midnight) to 8:00AM. 

Responsibilities

  • Patrol facility and surrounding parking lots and outbuildings to provide a visible presence of authority by using motorized vehicles and walking.
  • Assist in pre and post - event duties including locking doors, parking lots and security sweeps.
  • Perform regular tours checking all aspects of safety and maintenance of the ballpark.
  • Report and record incidents such as unusual occurrences, property damage, and trespassing.
  • In winter months, serve as a backup for shoveling/salting various entrances to the Park.
  • Follow and enforce security procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Weekday and weekend availability required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have ability to lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Experience and training in security procedures and law enforcement preferred.
  • Possessing a security license also a plus.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associates degree from college or technical school.
  • Or one to three years related experience and/or training.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software.    
Physical Demands
  • Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Required to stand; walk; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and /or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Required close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be physically capable of responding to emergency situations and assist employees and guests in the event of evacuations.
