Job Summary

Position Summary:

The Director of Video Production is responsible for the everyday creation of video content. This position will lead a team of video professionals in the production of content for digital, broadcast, and in-venue channels. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the day-today management of video production for all digital channels, working closely with the other team members and external freelancers, ensuring that video resources are being dedicated to the club’s highest priorities.
Create and capture compelling club content ranging from behind the scenes access to 1-on-1 player features. 
Supervise, hire, evaluate and mentor current department staff, student interns and external contractors.
Communicate appropriately with the team and stakeholders throughout all phases of production, tracking work and coordinating assigned projects to achieve successful results.
Lead a small team with sound storytelling acumen and inspirational and collaborative leadership and exceptional communication skills.
 

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Film or Broadcasting or similar field.
5-7 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience with a professional sports team is a plus.
Exceptional cinematography and video production skills.
Knowledgeable in all areas of video production, including lighting, sound, motion graphics, color correction, and publishing.
Foreign language skills a plus
Live stream setup and execution experience
