Job Summary
Responsibilities/Functions:
- Prospect, cultivate, close and service new business partnerships leveraging the NFL Team and Stadium controlled media/sponsorship assets and brands
- Engage in onsite and out-of-office sales meetings
- Create, propose and negotiateintegrated sponsorship platforms
- Develop relationships with clients and media planning & buying agencies
- Maintain and be held accountable for required sales activity levels, sales results and reports
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Create marketing and sponsorship platforms for sales presentations
- Analyze emerging sponsorship categories
- Consistently research best practices within sponsorship discipline
- Conduct discovery meetings with prospects to understand business needs and objectives
- Assist in development of sales personnel within sponsorship department
- Perform other functions and activities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Prospective candidate should have no less than five (5) years industry experience in a sales capacity
- Sports, entertainment salespreferred
- Strong existing client relationships are preferred and direct working relationships with media agencies is aplus
- An individual of superior self-confidence, enthusiasm and resiliency who possesses a combination of forward-thinking and self-motivation to rise to the challenge and enable him/her to immediately establish credibility within and outside of the organization and to achieve sales results and superior service
- An individual with the ability to relate to a wide variety of audiences.
- The successful candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to gain and enhance the respect and trust of superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Preferable to have experience in the marketplace
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
- Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritizeefficiently
- Possess an optimistic team attitude and competitive desire to be thebest
