Job Summary
Job Duties:
- Manage facility maintenance, utilities, and engineering, including but not limited to: elevators, escalators, lighting controls and systems, chiller plant, HVAC systems, Electrical, refrigeration, fire systems, and plumbing
- Serve as a maintenance and engineering representative for events at the venue
- Assist with building preparation for all regular and major events
- Help maintain cleanliness of the facility; uphold high standards for safety and appearance
- Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly environment for guests, participants, and staff
- Manage building management systems and create efficiencies
- Manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for PMs and facility work orders
- Manage service agreements associated with building systems, equipment and controls
- Perform preventative and general maintenance work as needed
- Perform repairs on systems and assist in modifying systems
- Maintain a service oriented department for interactions with all constituents
- Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Facility Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience overseeing maintenance and engineering at a venue of a similar size preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Able to understand, troubleshoot, and repair systems, equipment, and tools
- Experience with equipment inventory or CMMS system preferred
- Experience with building management systems required
- Experience with lighting control systems required
- Experience with chiller plant operations required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
- Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
- Able to balance internal priorities with client expectations
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays
