Job Summary
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Security Personnel provide a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors, guests, Partners and employees of the NFL Team.
Security Personnel perform proactive security functions when dealing with safety hazards, inappropriate conduct, disturbances and threats to property. Security Personnel will perform their responsibilities in a courteous and professional manner, through approved policies and procedures of the NFL Team.
Security Personnel must be available at least 24 hours per week. Shifts may include overnights, holidays and weekends.
SHIFTS TO BE FILLED
These are a list of the shifts we need filled, please select in the questions when applying, which ones you prefer:
2nd Shift (3p-11p) on weekends, we define weekends as Friday, Saturday and Sunday
2nd Shift (3p-11p) Monday through Thursday
3rd Shift (11p-7a) on weekends, we define weekends as Friday, Saturday and Sunday
3rd Shift (11p-7a) Monday through Thursday
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for maintaining order by utilizing a strong command presence, active listening and the highest level of customer service when dealing with guests, visitors, contractors, Partners and NFL Team staff
Responsible for the screening of all guests, visitors, contractors, FES Partners and NFL Team personnel as outlined by the NFL Best Practices Guide and NFL Team Employee Handbook
Escalate and take appropriate action as it relates to any guests, visitors, contractors, Partners or NFL Team staff who are non-compliant with direction given to them by their facility point of contact or Security
Responsible for the vetting and screening of all vehicular traffic entering the stadium
Prepare and submit comprehensive reports as needed
Complete all duties as assigned by Shift Supervisors
ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make quick and decisive decisions with confidence
- Familiarity with payroll and scheduling systems
- Clear understanding of all company policies and procedures
- Clear understanding of individual staff responsibilities within the department
- Exhibit strong command presence
- Utilize situational awareness
- Basic computer skills specifically including Microsoft Office Suite and industry standard software
- Basic understanding of standard office equipment including AV equipment, smartphones, and photocopiers
- Familiarize yourself with the NFL Team EOP as it relates to pertinent policy and procedures executed by the 24/7 Security Department
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated ability to solve fan and visitor issues efficiently and to the satisfaction of both parties
- Clearly, effectively, and professionally interact with staff, supervisors, fellow departments, contractors and the public
- Obtain a valid Driver's License
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs and ramps during entire shift (8 – 12 hours)
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport large boxes and items in excess of 25 lbs
- Availability to work long and irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, NFL games and special events including but not limited to soccer, football, concerts and banquets
