Job Summary

Internship Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Brand and Activations Coordinator in the execution of game night tasks including, but not limited to giveaway distribution, theme night preparation, and other various marketing tasks or activations related to NHL Team home games
- Assist with the pre-game set up, execution, and tear down of various concourse, plaza, and giveaway activations
- Help monitor and remain attentive to giveaway distribution sites on designated game nights to ensure proper execution of distribution
- Assist Brand and Activations Coordinator with marketing activations such as FOX Sports Tennessee live broadcast of “Saturday Night in Smashville” and other elements
- Shadow members of the marketing department at non-game day events including, but not limited to Predators Official Watch Parties, Sponsor activations, Community Relations activations, and other marketing initiatives
- Identify and quickly act upon needs related to game night tasks
- Perform other duties and objectives as assigned
NHL Team Internship Requirements
- Interns must be students enrolled in classes at an accredited college or university.
- The internship must be a part of the student’s curriculum.
- The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the student’s degree.
- Interns must be fun, energetic and outgoing individuals with a strong work ethic who possess the ability to interact with all types of people.
- Internships do not provide housing, compensation or transportation.
- Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the NHL Team or Bridgestone Arena upon completion.
- As a condition of internship, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check and character references.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have reliable means of transportation to games.
- The ability to work well with people in a team environment.
- The ability to engage and relate to fans.
- Ability to anticipate, identify and solve problems.
- Be a team player with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, including availability to work NHL Team home games.
- Frequent lifting, bending, walking and handling heavy equipment and props up to 50 lbs. required
- Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures and loud noise.
- Ability to stand in an upright position for continuous period of time.
