Pricing & Inventory Manager

Job Summary

 

Examples of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  

 

  • Manage ticket inventory holds and outlet inventory in an optimal way that provides the best chance to maximize revenue and sell-through rate

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) such as margin percentage, expired inventory percentage, and sell-through percentage to evaluate company performance

  • Analyze KPI results to make pricing recommendations

  • Maintain a pricing schedule that strategically places focus on inventory at the appropriate times to maintain revenue and sell through

  • Monitor real-time sales to make pricing adjustments as needed

  • Create daily inventory reports to track ticket inventory for each price code and each game

  • Help to create and maintain game, season, and historical reporting for upper management

  • Build and develop a relationship with Ticketmaster on pricing process and problem resolution

  • Other related duties as required

 

Specific Qualifications/Abilities: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS is a plus

  • Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization software is preferred

  • Experience with data analytics tools like SQL is a plus

  • Fluent knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics is preferred

  • Must have excellent proficiency in Excel and the ability to create and troubleshoot complex spreadsheets

  • Must have close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data entry and reporting 

  • Strong knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discuss options, and make recommendations

  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to translate findings to multiple levels of the organization

  • Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and can work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with shifting priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team concept

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
