Assistant Wrestling Coach, NCAA

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administering all aspects of a Division III Wrestling Program


• Recruitment and retention of student-athletes


• Coaching practice and game-day


• Ensuring academic integrity and success


• Fostering alumni and community relations


• Fundraising, camps/clinics


• Administrative duties such as NCAA rules compliance and weight management systems


• Other duties assigned by the head coach

Job Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree


• One to two years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level and/or competitive collegiate wrestling experience


• Ability to recruit within NCAA III rules


• Commitment to the student-athlete, passion for wrestling, and the ability to coach and motivate


• Strong organizational; creative writing; interpersonal; oral communication and computer skills


• Ability to write, draft and edit correspondence for publications
