Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Associate Athletic Director, Development (Director of Development) reports to the Associate Vice President of Development, in close cooperation with the Vice President & Director of Athletics and is a member of the University Development and Alumni Relations division.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage a portfolio of qualified, major and principal gift level prospects associated with Athletics and identify, qualify, and cultivate new Athletics prospects at the major and principal gift level.
• Solicit and close major gifts ($50,000+) that meet or exceed individual and department gift goals set annually..

• Serve as a resource and partner to the Athletics advisory board.
• Serve as chief point of contact for Athletics staff

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years of development experience, including major gift solicitation experience
