Head Women's Crew Coach

Job Summary

The head coach supervises the novice coach, assistant coach, volunteer coaches, and student athletes. The position is part of the university's Division I Women's Rowing Program. It also includes oversight of recruiting, admission standards, and eligibility for women's rowing teams.

Responsibilities:

Supervision of novice coach and assistant coach with delegated responsibilities for the overall maintenance of the program

Responsible for the development and improvement of rowing technique. Work with individual rowers on ergs when requested and appropriate.

Enforce University and athletic department policies and regulations in regard to the use/abuse of alcohol and drugs by team members

Recommend to the Director of Athletics, an annual budget for the program and operate within the approved budget
