Job Summary
The Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the Athletic Training Staff by assisting in all aspects of the intercollegiate athletic training program. Responsibilities include evaluating injuries, providing immediate care during events, determining treatment plans, adhering to athletic training policies, managing supplies, maintaining medical records, and ensuring ethical and legal standards are met in line with professional guidelines.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree from a curriculum athletic training program.
Bachelor's degree in a sports related discipline.
Certification as an Athletic Trainer (AT) by the Board of Certification, in good standing.
Licensed, or eligible for licensure under the Department of Health for the State of Rhode Island.
Ability to function in a service- and team-oriented environment.
