Game Day Operations Assistant/Away Team Liaison Intern

Job Summary

• Responsible for assisting in game day set-up 


• Helps with the set-up of the on-field signage, upper deck signage, and game day banners in the concourse 


• Responsible for completing the Away Team locker room checklist 


• Must be on time and reliable for Pre-Match meeting on game days 


• Communicating the timeline to the Away Team 


• Communicates professionally on the radio 


• Attends to all Away Team needs before, during, and after the match. 


• Communicates any messages from the Director of Operations to the Away Team 


• Escorts the Away Team to the staging area for the walkout 


• Helps with the break-down of game day signage 


• Delivers Will-Call tickets for the Visiting team to the box office 


• Responsible for the keys that correspond to opening and locking the away team locker room 


• Ready to assist in refilling any water or ice requests

• Currently pursuing a degree in sports management, communications, or hospitality 
• Experience working in a team environment 
• Outstanding communication skills 
• Individual must be detail-oriented, a self-starter and able to problem solve 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decision using sound judgement 
• A team player able to work constructively and positively in supporting colleagues and all aspects of club development and success 
• Able to follow instructions and contribute to creating a good environment for the referees and opposing team 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time if needed
