Job Summary

 


The Director, Marketing & Digital Engagement is responsible for overseeing, directing, and managing the company’s digital marketing/social media efforts, CRM strategy, augmented reality partnerships, auction platforms, and brand development of the various business and creative verticals.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Marketing and Promotions
  • Organize and execute traditional and digital marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Develop concise, eye-catching, and innovative promotional content to support the marketing strategy, ensuring the needs of each department head are met and exceeded in a timely manner

  • Liaise with Unit Leaders in Sponsorships & Ticketing to ensure all required promotional material for upcoming promotional events are provided

 
Social Media
  • Create and implement a social media calendar, detailing the program, type and platform of each post to ensure timely publication of marketing content

  • Attend all regular season and postseason games, fan engagement events and other organizational programming to obtain photographic and video content for all digital media platforms

  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, news etc. and update senior management on best practices that can be incorporated into our digital marketing strategy

  • Oversee Internship program with Metroplex-based Colleges and High Schools 
 
 
Team Responsibilities

  • Maintain day to day communication with Team President while attending staff meetings as required
  • Adhere to all budgetary guidelines while obtaining approval for all financial matters that pertain to each business segment of the Organization
  • Maintain the highest possible level of public image, professionalism and integrity to all customers, sponsors and Organizational employees

 

 
Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree from an accredited college/university required

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sports marketing related environment

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment

  • knowledge and/or experience using Google G-Suite, HubSpot, and Wordpress

  • Graphic design skills with knowledge of HTML, WordPress and Adobe Photoshop

  • Understanding of SEO/SEM techniques and the ability to manage implementation
